Australia

Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a country in the southern hemisphere comprising the mainland of the world's smallest continent, the major island of Tasmania and numerous other islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Neighbouring countries include Indonesia, East Timor and Papua New Guinea to the north, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia to the northeast, and New Zealand to the southeast. Australia is the only single country to occupy an entire continent.

Flower of Australia:

The generic name Acacia is derived from the Greek 'akis', a point, referring to the prickly leaves of some species. The specific name pycnantha from the Greek 'pyknos', meaning 'dense', and 'anthos', meaning 'a flower', refers to the dense clusters of flowers. There are more than 900 species of Acacia in Australia, making it the largest genus in the Australian flora. The vernacular name, wattle, used for Australian species of Acacia, derives from Anglo-Saxon times. Wattles were long flexible twigs interwoven for the framework on which mud was daubed. This rural British building technique was introduced by early settlers, and an abundant local tree, Callicoma serratifolia (family Cunoniaceae), commonly and perhaps confusingly known as 'black wattle' was first used this way at Port Jackson. Species of Acacia were later used as wattles in Australia.
Monuments:
The home of the Sydney Opera House, also known as Theater of Sydney is one of the most striking buildings to show the world, and one of the symbols of Australia, located in the city of Sydney. The building, designed by Jørn Utzon, began in 1959 and is located on the Bay of Sydney. Although the architect has abandoned the project in 1966, it was inaugurated in 1973. When the building of the Sydney Opera House was completed in 1973, it was a geographical mark, in the true sense of the word, which placed the entire Australian continent in the world map. The Sydney Opera House has about 1,000 rooms, including five theatres, five studios, two auditoriums, four restaurants, six bars and numerous shops for souvenirs. The largest auditorium, known as Concert Hall, has a capacity of 2690 seated spectators.

My Dream House

The house of my dreams is a mansion with eight bedrooms for my parents, for my sister and for me. My sister's bedroom is pink, because she loves this colour. There is also a spa.
There is a very well equipped kitchen where you can cook all sorts of exotic fish and meat dishes. I have got the best cook in the world and there are different desserts every day, from exotic fruits to the most extraordinary sweets.
I have got large rooms, a library and a cinema.
Outside there is a swimming-pool with water slides. There is also a beautiful garden with lots of flowers, three ponds and romanthic paths.
